How to Copy Blu-ray to DVD?
Do you want to copy Blu-ray movies to DVD disc for backup to save money? Then your best choice would be DVDFab Blu-ray Copy. DVDFab Blu-ray Copy is a fabulous Blu-ray copy software program that can copy Blu-ray movie to DVD disc without too much video quality loss. Now let me show you how to copy Blu-ray to DVD with DVDFab Blu-ray Copy.
Step 1: Choose a copy mode
Run DVDFab 11, choose Copy module and click the "Copy Mode" tab on the top left corner of the main interface to choose a copy mode. You have five modes (Full Disc, Main Movie, Customize, Merge, and Clone/Burn) to choose. Here I take Main Movie mode as an example.
Step 2: Load the source
Insert a blu-ray disc and DVDFab will load it automatically, or you can click the “Add” button to load the source manually.
Step 3: Customize your video
After the source is loaded in, the longest title, namely the main movie, will be selected by default. Then you can change the chapters, audio tracks, subtitles and make advanced settings according to your needs. On "Advanced Settings" panel, you can choose the output as BD 9 (DVD 9) or BD 5 (DVD 5).
Step 4: Select an output dictionary
Navigate to the drop-down list box at the bottom of the main interface to select your optical drive as the output directory.
Step 5: Start the copy process
Click the "Start" button to start the copy process.
During the copy process, you will be promoted to insert a compatible media to your optical drive. Just insert a DVD 9/ DVD 5 to continue the copy process. Though you copy the Blu-ray onto a DVD 9/ DVD 5, you can only watch the movie with a Blu-ray player.
