To downgrade the firmware on your UHD Drive, please follow the steps below:
Step 1 — Plug in your UHD Drive to your PC (skip this if you have an internal drive ).
Step 2 — Take out any disc from the drive, launch UHD Drive Tool from DVDFab -> Utilities.
Step 3 — Select your UHD drive from the available drive list.
Step 4 — Click “Downgrade Firmware” button. Wait as the Friendly firmware is flashed and success is reported.
Step 5 — Restart the computer.
NOTE: The entire process may take 2~3 minutes to finish. Please be patient!
Don’t power off drive or PC! Don’t attempt to perform any operation with the drive!
